Problem w/ 1.05...

I wrongly posted this to the Bug Forum, sorry.

When I go to install the patch, it says 'Game not installed, please install game!' Needless to say, my game is indeed installed.

Two most common causes.
1) You Dled the incorrect version of the patch.
2) It cannot find the path to your game.

Fix:
Insure you have the correct version of 1.05.
Reinstall to the default path, or edit the registry entry with the path you are useing.

And, er, how do I edit the registry?

start regedit (Start => Run => regedit => Enter) and navigate to "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Paradox Entertainment"
If you are nervous about editing the Registry then get someone to do it for you.
Or reinstall to default directory.

Well, thats not working...

I bought my copy from a used sale($15 bucks!) and it installed to C:\HeartsOfIron

Is that the default path? If not, what is?

Who is the publisher of your version?
Their logo should be on the CD.
