Problem w/German 1.05

It's the second time I've downloaded and installed the German 1.05 patch, but - just as the first time - when I try to start the game nothing happens, the programm just doesn't react. Deinstalling the game and installing once again didn't help either, with 1.05 it just won't work.

Any idea would could be wrong & how to fix it?

Have you tried the usual stuff like renaming your AVI folder to AVI_back, and updating your operating system and Video & Audio drivers?

The system and drivers aren't the problem (all updated). And I tried that thing with renaming the AVI folder, but still no success.

Am I the only one experiencing this kind of problem with the German 1.05?

(BTW: I had no problem at all with the 1.04 patch.)

Have you looked at the Koch site to see if they have any info?

No one here has reported the problem.

I've found a solution: if I put in the CD first I can start the programm (something I didn't have to do with 1.04). It is still a strange phenomenon but as long as 1.05 is running I'm happy. ;-)
