Problem when loading saved game

Greetings,

got a little problem here. When I load my last saved game, I got the following error message:

Error: (Country: Unexpected field)' id={'Line=264673file=scenarios\save games\USA_1942_February_24.eug

Loading the game with another country doesn't help neither, 'cause the game crashes while loading.
However, when I load a previous saved game in het same USA-campaign, e.g. January 3 1942, I have no problem loading the game.


Same error occurred a few days ago, when I was playing a campaign with UK.

Error line was: ERROR (unknown governement position in scenario file (minister))' Position=mininstar of Security'Line=426238files=Scenarios/save games/UK.eug



I never had this problem untill I deleted some saved games in het save game folder about a week ago, could it be I accidentaly deleted a file that I shouldn't have deleted?

I've got 1.1 installed.

THe only files in the save game folder are saved games. THe default files are 3 autosave files, then 2 files for every save game you have. Even if you deleate the autosave one If you have autosave on they will just be created again so I don't see any harm you could do by just deleteing files form the folder.
Do you have any mods installed or have you edited any files yourself?

I've downloaded the Leader Death Date Remover from the Wiki-site, that's all I've changed from the original game. No mods or edited files.

The error doesn't occur that much, so it's not I real big problem. I adjusted the autosave option to 1 month, that should prevent me from losing too much time to re-play my game when it happens again.

Since the error gives you the line number, you could always go in with a text editor that displays lines and find what the trouble is.
