So I took a game as USA, and had early secession. By 1858 I had won the war, and united USA once again, problem comes when the liberal Republican party gets slept, since the Constitutional Union Party is still active, and in my game they got 85% of the votes afterwards, resulting in them getting in power. Since a party doesn't dissappear at the date mentioned in the Party file, if they are ruling, USA will basically end up with the Constitutional party for a long time after the war. Which I don't think is intented. The easiest way to solve this problem, would probably be to sleep the party in event 14182.

I know this is really a minor problem, but for me it was extremely hard to get the party voted out, and the result was that I couldn't get a pluralistic full citizenship party in power, which severaly cripples USA with the lowered migration.

You could contact CSAbadass. He made a CSA mod that had many fixes, perhaps you could see if his mod has fixed your problem.

Thanks for the mention, HMS!

I have an event that fixes this problem for the CSA in my mod. I'll see what I can do for the Yankees in the next update.
