Hi everybody,

we are currently running an aberration multiplayer game in the french-speaking forum.

The Bavarian player has a little problem with this event as the triggered event (202124) doesn't exist in the Swabian event file nor anywhere else.

Code:
id = 440002
trigger = {
[U][B]event = 202124[/B][/U]
NOT = { religion = protestant }
}
random = no
country = BAY
name = "The German war of Religion"

What should be changed ?
Is there event that must be triggered, or we can supress that line ?

At this stage I would supress that line.

First, in the original Aberration mod many of the Bavarian events never worked as their trigger were wrong, referred to Bavaian events that were never made, and also had the Peasant War resolution event tiggering BEFORE the peasant wa start event, which anyway could never trigger, and gave Bavaria huge minuses on RR for a long time. Crazy stuff. In addition to their brilliant monachs and leaders, there was little stopping them.

In Interregnum (which you ought to try in place of Aberration! ;) ) Bavaria is th one of the last files to be updated. The reason is that mikl has been slowly rebuilding the relationship between the Pope and Emperor, updating the Crusade against Iberia and adding tons of layers to the Papacy generally, so that there are many different outcomes to the Reformation, or no Reformation at all. Not complete yet, because quality takes time.

In Interregnum, that line was supressed long ago, so that's what I would do.

But maybe TheAchduke can shed more light on it.

Oh I said aberration ? :eek:
So sorry, I meant Interregnum. :p

We started our game with the 6.21 beta.

Glad to read you are playing Interregnum!

How is the campaign going?

Then that doesn't make sense, as the trigger issue you mention has been 'blacked out' with a hash symbol in Interregnum for some time now. Check the file to make sure

I'm sure, I checked it after the Bavarian player pointed that out, and several other players checked it. We'll just remove that line. :)

The settings are: difficult/normal.

- Genoa had some troubles and lost several provinces, including Venice.
- Cordoba, Betony and Bavaria are doing fine.
- Kalmar had some troubles with his first war and got bankrupt, but is doing better now. The Hanseatic League is no more.
- The Teutonic Order was not played the first round, he's doing well now.

And finally I'm playing Byzantium, Anatolia is all mine now, as Armenia, but I lost a war to Hungary and his alliance (Poland, Bohemia and Brandenburg)...
But now I'm taking my revenge. The Hungarian army is no more, slaughtered by my cavalry. :)

Also because he is holidaying, and time-poor, and needs to finish Papal States before he knows what happens to the Bavarians, before he knows what happens to the Swabans.

Looking forward to finishing the germans off before end of November.

And has three children and a wife and work and a needy mother and watches the football and has home construction to do and the rest of the honey-do list and sometimes when there is finally a quiet moment he might want simply to PLAY the game rather than mod it.

But it will be great when it is done.
