Problem with DLC and MOD folders on Mac

I bought CK2 Collection for Mac through Steam and the DLCs don´t work. The game only runs the ruler designer, but not the other ones. Neither other Mods work. They are on the folders, and appear on the launch window, but don´t work during the game.
One solution is to copy-paste the files over the original ones, but I think there must be an answer to run them from the DLC and MOD folders. Isn´t it?

Edit: I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game from steam twice and nothing.

After a steam restart, it seems to be working (the ruler mod), need to test the others.

No, doesn´t work. I've tried removing steam from my computer and reinstalling it one more time...and nothing. The ruler designer works fine, but the other DLCs, no (dynasty shields are the fantasy ones, not those which are in the DLC)

I found Sword of Islam works, but the Portrait and Sprite packs do not, not sure about the music

Same here: Sword of Islam does work, but the coat of arms nor the music dlc's work. However, you can get the music dlc's to work in game by unzipping the files in the mod folder, and then moving the .ogg and the .txt files to the music folder.

Alright, I unzipped all of the DLC and moved them into the respective folders. It seems that the music now works, the Mongols are using the correct portraits as well, I do not think that the African Units DLC is working though

Edit: African Units is working too. There was one file I forgot to copy over

I stil can't get any mods to work myself. Show up in the launcher but not in the game.

Alright, I unzipped all of the DLC and moved them into the respective folders. It seems that the music now works, the Mongols are using the correct portraits as well, I do not think that the African Units DLC is working though

I`ve done the same. But the point is that this happens with MODs too, and when you update a patch those files change. In theory to avoid this, they created the DLCs and MODs folders, but don´t work.
