So I was told I should get it so I got my friend to let me borrow his version of it so I can save up some money to go get it.

I installed it, but everytime I run the HOI2.exe thing, it says please install the latest milestone. I'm sure this is a problem that others have had and it's annoying because I'm so close to playing Cold War and Modern Day and this stops me haha.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

The Answer

I think this is due to the fact the version of doomsday is not compatible with your PC, I would update it and see if it works, for 13th warrior is right, it is a stand alone expansion pack

Or there is a chance that your PC isn't compatible, try checking what version it is, this will give you an idea of which one of these it is.

Hope this is the problem!

How can it not be compatible with your PC???

Anyway, your problem is the wrong patch. It is the standard error which occurs when you try to apply a HoI2 patch to a doomsday install or vice versa. If you didn't patch it yourself, your "friend" who you "borrowed" your game from has messed up.

Just download the legal game from gamersgate, it's dirt cheap, even in the anthology with all expansion packs. You won't have such problems after that, and you'll also have the good feeling of being a good guy. ;)
