I have a problem with Paradox mods, I keep getting an error when installing change.device that you can only check the French or German mod if another mod has not been installed before. The Paradox mod only installs after you have cleared the files using the instructions I found on Steam:
1. Delete the game packs using PDX Mods or Skyve (Skyve IS a PDX mod, but if you can't find a PDX mod for this game, you can Google Skyve and download it from the internet, install it, and then you will be able to delete your game packs (and their contents).
2. Restart the game without any mods. If it loads, skip to 8 (below)
3. Delete the game
4. Delete the game packs using PDX Mods or SKYVE)
5. Delete the following 3 directories:
%UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Colossal Order
%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Paradox Interactive
%UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Paradox Interactive
6. Reinstall the game
7. Start Vanilla (without mods)
8. If everything is OK, okay, re-add the mods you are looking for, a few at a time (only the ones you identified as OK) and see which one is not working. If so, remove them and re-add them in smaller partitions until you identify the culprit(s).
The problem is that I now have two Paradox mods and I cannot detect the second one because I get an error saying that the installation failed. I have space on my disk. It is not a problem with the other mods because I do not install them.
I would appreciate your help because I do not know what to do. The game does not make sense without these add-ons.
