PROBLEM with italian patch

I have tha game in italian language.. but when I launch the patch there is:

WRONG VERSION OF CRUSADER KING DETECTED
INSTALLED LANGUAGE: FRENCH
UPDATER LANGUAGE: ITALIAN
ABORTING SETUP!

What can I do?
I'm sure my version is ITALIAN.

Please help me.
 
Who is the publisher of your version? thier logo will be on the CD.

What language is the game text in?
 
This is very strange double check you Downloaded the Italian patch, if so then check the registry entry and see what language flag is set.
 
To change the registry key, if you allow me to speak in italian to this guy...

AVVIO --> ESEGUI --> digita REGEDIT e premi OK --> HKEY_LOAL_MACHINE --> SOFTWARE --> PARADOX ENTERTAINEMENT --> selezione la voce CRUSADER KINGS e nella finestra di destra vedrai una linea LANG --> clicca su questo col destro e scelgi MODIFICA --> metti Italian al posto di quello che c'è --> chiudi. Basta.

In the string LANG there was NOTHING, no french no italian. NOTHING.

Hi. I'm an Italian player and I had the same problem, so I think that this kind of "bug" could unfortunately be very frequent among CK italian copies distributed by Leader.

By the way, thanks a lot for having solved our problem !

This is the answer of Leader:

Gentile cliente,
occorre prima di tutto scaricare entrambe le versioni della patch, francese e italiana, dopodichè deve procedere alla
scompattazione del contenuto delle due patch.
Copiare il contenuto del file setup della patch francese in quello italiano, dopo aver cancellato il testo di quest'ultimo. L'installazione procede, in lingua francese, ma l'update rimane quello della versione italiana, risolvendo così il problema.

And I do not speak Italian so I have no idea what that posts says.
 
Is everyone with the Italian version having this problem? I thought only a few?
