Problem with loading a file

I have played a game from 38' to 45. One day when i loaded the file this message popped up.

When I press the ignore button another of those messages popps up with a different ID.

And If I ignore them both I can play. But only for a while, then it crashes.


Is there anything I can do?

No mods?
Are you using the latest patch?

The problem is that you have two unit with the same id.

Backup your save file.

Open the file with notepad. Search for the id.

You can either delete one of then or give one of then a really high id number.

Im not playing with any mods or patches.

I tried to look for the save file, but in the 'save games' folder there's like only three files.

Are the save files hiding in another place?

If you're using Vista, click the 'compatibility files' button (or the equivalent in Swedish ) at the top of the folder
