Hello, i'm experiencing problems when i assign a mission to a naval or air group.. when i ask my ships to do interdiction or patrol along an area they don't move from their home port. The same happens for air units when i ask them, for example, to do an air superiority mission.

I'm using HoI2 armageddon and tried 1.2 and 1.3 beta patch without results. My last resource would be to uninstall the whole thing and install it again, but i've installed the game for the first time only some days ago :wacko:

I paid attention to the "do until organization/strenght above", setting it to low values and choosed day, night or both but the problem is still there.

I will be grateful to anyone who helps me find a solution!!!
 
I'm currently with Italy and i'm not at war yet... but on the first games after installation i remember that i could successfully give this kind of orders and saw the ships patrolling even if i wasn't at war.

I tried to start campaigns with various factions (in 1936) and tried to start missions without success.

Maybe patch 1.2 or 1.3 changed this to not letting mission do until you're at war?

I just fired up my Armageddon with the 1.3Beta patch my planes and navy did not perform air superiority or naval interdiction missions at the very start, when I was at peace; I would say that it is WAD (working as designed). If they sit on their asses when war starts then you have a problem :eek:bviously: :)
 
Yeah you are right. When i started with italy on 1936 i was at war with ethiopia so i was able to do missions.. after i annexed it, it wasn't more possible.
