I updated to the SVN version and after a day to a couple days of play, I get 2 pop-up windows with no text and can't be closed. Is this a current problem or is it just me?

It's the duel engine. I was in the middle of a rewrite using event targets, and lost steam (the WoL beta patches broke the old Duel Engine.)
Are you planning to make your revamped Duel Engine accessible outside of Lux Invicta (i.e. for other mods)?
I don't know yet, I've still yet to get enough steam going to actually change over all the events that call the event engine over to using event targets. (The trial by combat event chain is... intimidatingly complex.)
I found a couple lines in the duel engine where I typoed which might be causing the blank events. If someone wants to try the current SVN and see if it still has blank events, I'd appreciate it.

They do not trigger blank events anymore, but the duel engine itself doesn't seem to work. The selecting the duel option in the event leads to nothing. The retreat option works OK though.

That was the first one I integrated, so yeah, something not working right yet.

btw: with this version my game CTDs when autosaving

My svn is not the latest, i believe I grabbed it a week ago, on December 30. But I did have an issue with the duel engine — the event in which I take someone prisoner drove me into some kind of cycle where I went through the same duel events over and over. The culprit did appear in my prison though so I executed him — the loop went for two more cycles before breaking.
Oh, and the message for the duel was broken too — it told me that I was fighting myself.
I encountered a similar CTDs with Lux Invicta in the past — on autosaves or making screenshots — and the problem in my case was in paranoid Windows security. I managed to solve it by running Steam as administrator (right click on Steam or CK executable -> run as administrator, you should try it even if your user account has the administrative privileges). Hope that helps.
