problems en masse

I have some of the same problems already stated... however when played on my puter the game slows down and becomes choppy already around 1510... I'm playing Denmark and loving the game... its just that having to pause every time something happens(because it takes me a while to push the right buttons with the slowness and choppiness) becomes real annoying.

also I cant play the game with 1 min= 2 month... the game crashes to desktop. this means I either have to play 1 min= 1 month(way too slow) or 1 min= 4 months(which is ok but a bit fast)

the 1.08 patch seems to have taken care of the worst crashes. and I probably shouldnt be complaining, but you should see the way my mouse moves when I play EU. its ugly I tell you!

CPU: AMD K7 500mhz
Graphics: nVIDIA TNT2 Riva M64
128 RAM
pretty old screen (15' Daewoo)

I have plenty of free hard drive space. no cd in the CD-ROM drive. newest patch and drivers. only systray and explorer running. even changed the batteries in my mouse ;-).

Do you really mean the 1.08 patch? If so you must be playing EU not EU2, so you're in the wrong forum. Try 1.10 which is the last update for EU.

If you are playing EU2 and you really have the 1.05 patch, then your problem is probably simply memory. EU2 can make use of at least 384mb, and the symptoms you describe match that well. I went from 128mb to 640 in one move a few months ago, it's been great.
