While playing my first V:R to DD converted game, the following problems cropped up:

1) Provincial manpower seems completely random, and utterly divorced from national populations. Some examples:

1935 Total Vicky Population to Total DD Provincial Manpower

Russia 325 million = 36
UK 299 million = 61
Germany 257 million = 134
USA 184 million = 105
Turkey 153 million = 76
Austria 110 million = 26
CSA 47 million = 6

I suppose native vs. non-native cultures weigh into the calculation, but the results still look odd to me.

2) After being intercepted by enemy planes, air units suffer the usual minor combat damage...and then disappear completely on a frequent basis.

3) Liberated nations get no tech teams.

4) All but two of the usual DD events files fail to load into converted games. This may be WAD, but shouldn't be if it is.

Airbase placement seems to be more or less random. Also, since the highest you can build anything in revolutions is level 6, you will see no maginot line level forts, no level 10 naval bases, etc.
 
After further testing, I can clarify the air combat bug I posted about above.

Quite simply, any air unit that's forced to retreat is completely eliminated, regardless of its remaining strength.

Sucks mightily. Hope PI fixes it soon.
 
My game always crashes too. I've annexed France, and half South America. My puppets are Portugal, Belgium, Netherlands, Argentina, Mexico, Sardina-Piermont and Denmark. I've built a couple of carriers and cruisers to have a bigger fleet in the war against the UK in the Doomsday scenario. When I'm starting a new Victoria game and export it, there's no problem
