Problems locating scenarios to begin game

Just acquired EU II, and upon starting the game (single player), I cant see or find scenario options in the left-side of the screen, thus I cant start the game. Checked the installed files and indeed there is a folder named scenarios with a bunch of files, yet the game is not reading from this list as the scenario list is empty. How can I get the game to read and provide a scenario list.

Not really sure what the problem could be. Have you applied the 1.09 patch? Try renaming the AVI folder (under EU2) and reboot.

Also, is this on Vista? If so you may have to be the admin user to get to all files.

I have XP. Also, I have the 1.09 patch. Tried renaming the avi folder, yet still having the same problem. Please help

I really have no idea what your problem is, I don't recall anyone else ever reporting this. Have you installed any mods?

You could try a complete reinstall; move any valued save games elsewhere then uninstall the game, and manually delete the game directory. Then install EU2 then 1.09.
