EU II was released in Belgium about a week ago. I bought the "Dutch version" as this was the only version available in my local shop. On the box it says "Dutch CD-ROM" but the game is in English, only the manual is in Dutch. That is not the problem however.
The problem is the great number of crashes and freezes the game causes. It often freezes or crashes when playing (e.g. after a battle with rebels or when trying to reorganise a fleet) but mostly when reloading. One in three times reloading causes a crash.
I've tried defragmentating my system and reinstalling the game, but it doesn't help.
Could there be a specific problem with the Dutch release or is it just the general problem that other players are experiencing?
Do any of the patches apply to the Dutch version?
Thanks for any helpful suggestions.
