problems with installation

Hi, I was to install HoI2 doomsday onto my computer (new computer and haven't install it previously) and it has come up with the following error

Component transfer error
compent : Core file
file group : Common
File D:\data2.cab
error: data error - cyclic redundancy check.

I haven't installed HoI2 or expansions bar the expection of HoI3 and patches for it.

Im running windows XP and never had this problem before previously

Sounds like scratched or dirty CD/DVD. Do you have problems with other CD/DVD in this drive ?

Nah no problems with other cds (of which is in poorer form than the HoI disk)
