Problems With Patch

When i tried to apply Paradox's patch , it said it couldnt detect the game .

What is the correct directory for the game to be in for Paradox's patch and/or for Strategy First's ?

Who is the publisher of the game? Strategy First, Pan Vision ...

Usually you get this error if you are trying to install the wrong patch.

I believe it is Strategy First but that patch doesnt work.
I installed it to a different directory . Would this make a difference ?

If so , could you give me what the dir should be ? eh c:// program files /sf/hoi ,etc

Yes you want to install it to what ever directory you installed the game in.

To find that directory, click on the start button, find the icon that you normally click to start the game, hover the mouse over this icon and you should get a text pop up that gives you the path to the file.

...or you can just pop out the CD and look at the top of it for the publisher's logo...
