Province pop-up

Is there a way to stop the province pop-up from interfering with my gameplay?

Everytime i move the cursor around the map, every single province gets highlighted with info.
It is so annoying because it does not let me do what i want.

I tried to find a way to set the timer, but as i see it there is no way to set a timer for it.

That is not helpful. As i said there is no timer.
The province box is not a tooltip so the pop-up for provinces is not responding to this specific timer.

I found a mod that helps. However i do think that this intrusive tooltip should be looked at.
It is quite disruptive.
