Are declared provinces in defines.csv that are left blank going to be affecting performance?
The mod I am working on for some reason has a couple thousand provinces left blank and I wonder if removing them will help reduce lag.

Not to a noticeable extent, assuming the province count in default.map doesn't include them; vanilla has a lot of empty ids included in the .csv file.
