PS4 on PS5 Trains missing carriages

Hello,
I am hoping someone might be able to help me with a new problem that started two weeks ago when playing City Skylines PS4 on PS5, this has not happened before, I have been playing for years with no problems.
Starting two weeks ago when my current build reaches a certain point at around population 29k, the train carriages start to disappear, trains have 1 or 2 carriages with only a capacity of 30 60, there are also less citizens travelling. Meanwhile the total population number remains the same but only small number of citizens are travelling on trains and roads.
I have tried deleting assets in the game, reducing the vehicles, trains and roads. I have gone back to an earlier save point and the problem is not there but when I again get to 27K - 29k total population it happens again.
I have started a new game and again when it got to a total of population over 27,000 it happens again.
This has never happened before in previous build where I have had 60,000 or even 100,000+ population.
I have tried a new game and build, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I have rebuilt the data table of my PlayStation, I have rest my PlayStation, nothing has worked.
Your help will be greatly appreciated by a desperate City Skylines fan

I've just developed this same issue today and I cannot figure out what has caused this other than creating a stadium park, however that is managed by surface metros and no issues there. I have just 3 train routes, although long, would not see this as an issue. I hope someone cam help as the platforms are overloaded and just single carriages floating about !

Xbox one x/PS4
Trains, Trams, Metros, Monorails missing cars and Trucks and Tractors missing trailers, is a sign of hitting the vehicle limit.
What are your populations and what are your traffic flow %? How red is your city in the traffic % view? Large cities and/or poor traffic flow( road design) is the usual problem. There are solutions that help if you hit the limit.
