[PS4] Reset progress

I've tried deleting my save files from system storage and cloud storage but it does not reset my progress. I want to start fresh with no unlocked weapons/items/etc. This has nothing to do with reseting PS4 trophies, only in-game progress. Please help!

As far as I've read from everywhere, for some reason they've made it impossible

Hi if you
1) delete your save game
2) pull the network cable or disable the wifi (play offline) or disable network under settings
3) Start Magicka 2
4) Play part of the prologue so you get to a check point
5) Exit the game.
6) Connect the network cable / enable wifi / enable network under settings
7) Start Magicka 2 and chose to use the locale save instead (NOT Cloud)
8) Your Progress should be reset.

Thanks, it worked! Unfortunately I can't reset the stats (kills, healing, etc) but this is good enough
