Greetings fellow players and team Paradox/Lab42,

I would prefer not to open this post with a request for any updates as it seems as Paradox and Lab42 are current inundated with them so I'll open with my personal gaming experience to my fellow players.

I'm currently very far into a campaign on iron mode which was very hard for me to reach. Ideally I would prefer not to lose this game as it was a trek to arrive at, but if being able to play at all is currently indefinite, I'm willing to bite the bullet and restart my game but I am receiving some conflicting information which gives me pause to restart at all.

Initially I purchased CK3 years ago with the intent of playing from my Mac but streaming it to my tv. That didn't work out so well, so when CK3 came out for PS5, I grabbed it asap. I couldn't wait.

The game did have it's fair share of bugs and crashes, but at the time I was not playing on ironmode so any crash was not the end of the world, as I was saving consistently and I could continue my game for a several hours with the occasional crash. We would also get the occasional patch here and there from the dev team which were actually helpful, at least for me.

Now with the addition of royal court, initially I found that gameplay was consistent with my original experience when I first started playing. I was able to play for several hours without a crash and when the game inevitably would, I could still return to play off an auto save and even overlook major missing features like being able to retract vassals.

I now find myself in the situation of being able to play for 10 to 20 minutes before the game crashes. Unfortunately since I'm on autosave, I can no longer make any progress and the constant crashing takes the joy out of playing completely. It's really a shame as royal court was a wonderful add-on which added many additional layers to the game altogether.

Now with my particular gaming experience explained, have any of you had any luck of getting CK3 to work again? I'm getting mixed messages. Some people are saying uninstall royal court. Others are saying, uninstall the game altogether and just deselecting royal court from being installed with it will do the trick.

Other players like Viktor state that the game works until certain dates but I am not aware of which add-ons he's playing with if any.

Any personal experiences or workarounds from fellow players would be very much appreciated.

To the dev team, I choose to steer away from any criticism but I still do pose the idea that if you were to offer any sort of regular communication, updates, whether good or bad to your players, this would help quell some discontent but more importantly, uphold standards that you would expect from a major studio for a game that we paid good money for. We're currently in the dark and are unsure if you are still currently working on the game or are working on another for the time being or have abandoned the project all together until instructed otherwise.

Thanks everybody and I hope this thread can be somewhat productive.
