Greetings all. Just wanted to take the oppurtunity to bring this subject to light... 'Cannot grant duke title if no open demense' Since I had just experienced it playing 1.05b 'Public Beta Nov 18 2004' and searching for the issue hadn't noticed that it had been discussed recently. So just to reconfirm...it's still at large. :) Noticed it's something that definetly needed to be looked into... I just started playing the Public Beta and loved the addition of the crusades and hordes enhancements. So I'm certainly very anxious to play with these new features and I just hope input I offer can be of assistance in any way on the road to 1.05 :D Much thanks

Yep. I have also seen this and I concur, it is madness. So long as it does not detract from your remaining demesne (as you are at one), there should be no impediment to granting royal or ducal titles for those already at the count level or above.
