C++ Runtime exception - Pure virtual method called.
After 15 game years of play I got a "pure virtual method called" exception and crash to desktop. Game save and log files available but they don't show anything. IIRC I didn't have any dialogs open, and the games was not paused.
Also noticed in the game.
Illegal trade route.
The province of Taurica(BOS) has two trade routes Amisus(PON) and Phanagoria(BOS) But these are both grain provinces. Grain does show twice in the population growth popup. [Save available]
Inconsistent trade setup / maintenance.
Armenia, Commagene, Antioch, Syria, Judea, Tabuk all Roman, surrounding areas all Selucid (at war), Pontus or Egyptian (both tributaries but no trade) , Parisii, Treveri and Scirii Roman and connected by land to Rome. Roads everywhere. Armenia, Judea and Tabuk show an available trade route and Parsii, Treveri or Scirii can be selected, however when the month turns the route is automatically cancelled. The Southern areas had all been captured by the Selucids and retaken. The effect persisted over some time (several years) but wasn't evident after the war ended - which added Coele-Syria and Damascus to the Roman empire. Rome did control all of the Selucid empire, but I think the effect started before there was a land connection to Armenia - I believe it started when Armenia was recaptured and I am fairly certain there was no land route at that time. [Added - reproduced on going back to last save, save available]
