I remember reading here(?) in this forum that there is a program available which can be used to compare two text files (line by line) and to detect the changes which have been made. Given the absence of a proper changelog of the latest beta it's nearly impossible to discover the changes made to e.g. the larger event files. It'd be rather helpful to have such a program instead of manually comparing these files line by line. :confused:

On *nix systems there is diff. On Windows there is WinMerge

Many thanks for your advice, winmerge turned out to be the program which I was looking for. ;)

It's easy to use and the presentation of the discovered differences is quite useful.
