I'm playing with DD and last DAIM bigpack.
As JAP, I puppeted NatChi and i'm surprised that NatChi only build vanilla INF and vanilla INF with Art.

No planes, no HQ, no navy.
With vanilla DD, it was different, did you only reworked China AI to fight against JAP?

And thanx for the new version.

HQs? Navy? Chinese tech level isn't famous, infantry divisions usually are the most valuable thing they can build for you. I for one don't miss Chinese planes or ships.

HoI 2 China sucks badly when played by the AI, it simply is too weak. A human player can make achievements with it, the AI won't.

In this version a China puppet AI is not included , in future versions maybe :) ;)

I think China puppet AI would be great! China has a lot of potential, and they could be a semi-useful ally to Japan in their Asian conquests...how possible would it be to cut-and-paste from the original HOI2DD files, or is this a no-no?

Given the number of units spammed by China, HQ are usefull...
I talked about navy because it was built sometimes by vanilla AI but I admit its not usefull for NatChi.
MTN are very usefull too.

Spamming units is a technique for SU and China all by itself! ;)

Don't forget that HQ usage usually is awful by the AI (and beyond our influence), the player would have to control them to make them reasonably effective (considering the huge cost). The same argument is valid for Mountaineers.
 
During this game (JAP norm/norm), i noticed few things:
- UK AI did not protect frontier with NatChi (puppeted by JAP) and only protected victory points in India; therefore JAP attack over India was really easy
- GER AI teched for Volksturm land doctrine even with 2,000 manpower
- GER AI did not liberate some countries even if a terrific TC overload

Hmm, the AI isn't told to ignore this border.

The AI is told to ignore the tech in the next version already. :)

The AI is incapable of liberating countries on its own. We might introduce new events to create puppets (I already thought about that), but there are only ahistorical ones left, I think.
