Question about Diplomacy Screen

I noticed a change during my game that when I am in the Relations mode, and I have my country selected, (I have made absolutely certain of this before posting this), that my own country appears in Dark Red.

This would seem to mean that 'we' hate 'ourselves'.

I am playing Scotland and this occurred after I converted to Protestant. I figured it was due to the -3 stability. But now I am back to +3 Stab and it still shows Dark Red.

Why would this be?

I don't think the color of your country indicates anything important. Maybe it reflects your average relationship with other countries?

Yes you do have a relation value towrads yourself.

You can look at it at in your savefile.

It seems to change with how nice ore evil you are, for instance breaking RM with other countries gives -70 and taking money in peace negotiations gives +10 / full 250 dukats.

What this value actually does I have no clue about though. Perhaps the risk/chance of a revolt ??
