Well, I think it is possible to change the models used for cars so my question is: Can we change emergency vehicles (and the lights appearance and color) and how difficult will it be?

You can replace any vehicle model like you can replace any building model, I "THINK" you can also add new vehicles like you can add new buildings. So those who dislike the European style of emergency vehicles they're currently using someone can mod in those big menacing looking american vehicles.

Kudos to the first person who creates an emergency services mod on the workshop, especially getting rid of the two tone or simply more varied sirens. Slight bummer when I noticed the police and ambulance are the same tone. Lets change it up! I love this game but the sirens could sound more awesome.
