Hello,

Question:

is there any way to demand a specific province as part of a Peace deal?

Complaint:

Say I have a level 5 trading post with Chinaware bringing me in lots of trade money and say I accidently click on 'build colony' instead of 'build trading post'. Not only doesn't there seem to be a way to undo this but why does the colony not include the trade monies. It doesn't seem to make sense that a very lucrative province can become a lowly colonial province by building a colony on it. It seems that the trade money should carry over when you build the colony.

To be able to demand a specific province you need to control it, ie. have succesfully besieged it. Or in other words the only provinces you can ask for in a peace treaty are the ones you control.

The trade money doesn't stay over, but the people you had moved there i.e. 50 people with a lvl 5 colony does stay to bolster your colony. If you increase the colony to about the same level you will get about the same trade level as well as a decent province income. It's more expensive but it's better since you can then finally fortify your expensive investment.
