how many is looking in this forum is it dead have all gone to the EUII AAR forum? lets take a count im still here anybody else? please raise your hands

I seem to be getting some views on my AAR. Damn I hope it's not dead I'll be wasting a lot of time!

No, this forum certainly is NOT dead... there's plenty of discussion going on... though I admit it might be that there's less people but we're talking more. (I haven't tried to do any calculations on that, but you're welcome to try if you like).

I read it every day, and there's always at least four threads just in the AAR section that have new posts.

In the timely words of Monty Python: "I'm not dead yet!"

A lot of writers have migrated to the EU II board but that doesn't mean we don't read what's happening here. So I would say keep at it. We're always on the lookout for a good read, whether it's here or 'over there'.

About Lorraine, Velociryx had one other long absence before, hopefully he'll turn up again.

I don't spend nearly as much time here as I do on the EUII boards now, b/c there's much more activity over there. But I do still have a look every now and then, and I keep up with any aars I'm subscribed to that have been updated (though Isaac's Genoa aar and Tokarev's Tuscany aar are usually the only ones).

yeah i still have a look around although i really only lok at Isaac's Genoan one and i usde to be reading Lorraine but well yeah

If Velociryx is the same person as the guy known as Velociryx at the Apolyton forum (which seems very likely btw) http://apolyton.net/forums/showthread.php?threadid=37724 then it appears as if he´s busy working on a strategy guide/mod to Civ3...

I'm still alive and proud to be a writer here. It isn't as crowded as the golden days, but it will change. The new EU2-players might discver it and the golden wisdoms that lie buried here.

And, um, once again, I will update tomorrow or friday. No partying for me. (Not by choice, but by nature;))

While most players have switched to the EU II forums, I still come back to this one every once in a while to get fresh ideas for the campaigns to come.

And some of us have not yet made the purchase of EU2. Still enjoying EU1 for now. Did some research on Austria via others AAR's. Good way to learn!

I'm here.....indeed I'm writing my first AAR now.

me to. but it sucks. SOMEONE READ IT! ITS THE EIRE ONE. I havent really gotten to the game but i think its a good intro thing. Im gonna play the whole game first then write the AAR on it. I just want yall to read the Intro.

It may appear that this forum is dead, but it's obvious there is a core group of writers that strive to keep the flame alive, so to speak.

That is good. Now, I still read what's going on here, mainly because there's some great AARs still running, and several new efforts that are more than worthy.

I stopped the AAR of the week because, frankly, the material was drying up. I can reinstitute it if you wish.

And at the same time if there's something special you'd like to see, or like done, them answer here or PM me.
