Question on ducat peace resolutions

I believe that someone somewhere said that accepting ducats in a peace gives you +10 relations with yourself for each 250d. Does anyone know offhand if that means the actual money you receive or the money you asked for? In other words, if I get a country to accept a 1000d peace but they only have 250d I still get +40 relations?

I dont know, relations with yourself is only good if you are going to be HRE, and then war is seldom good.

I think you will.. you earned the ducats and thus the results of the ducats whether the enemy had the ducats or not. Seems like the only logical conclusion.
