The amount of effort necessary to do the same level of detail for the entire period would be staggering... imagine having to trace and create characters for every significant noble in Germany for 150 years :excl:

Plus the added burden of basically all sources being in Japanese - a language none of us at Paradox speak. But if Sengoku sells good enough there's always the potential of an expansion/dlc which might cover more start dates.
 
For less than the $20 it'd cost for a copy of Nobunaga's Ambition anyone with a ps2 could have done that research for you. Nobunaga's Ambition already has all of that information in it...

Nevermind the fact that the sheer number of clans in existence at Nobunaga's time vs the current start period makes for a much, much more interesting play experience.

*sigh* Alright, anybody else on board for the first Sengoku mod? Looks like it has to be done. Contact me via pm if you're interested, I have a few thoughts in mind.

I doubt it would be that easy, considering the painstaking effort that went into our current setup. But I leave that to our Japanese research betas to answer.
