Hi all,
I'd like to ask you few questions, as we prepare to our first great LAN-game in Vici.
1) If I want to use for example Derec's POP needs mod do I have to install it only on server or rather I have to install it on every single client-computer ?
2) same thing with events - if I correct typo in an event - is it enough to correct it only at server side ?

in other words - are events, POPs incomes and other mechanical stuff calculated only at server ? or at client's comps ?

3) is there any way to change speed of the game without saving / restarting ?

Well, I won't really be much help, but if anyone has info to help you, it can justify my unabashed piggy-backing. :D

Playing with a 2-person LAN, I finally figured out that it was having *any* custom-changed files that caused the non-server computer to freeze within 10 game-days. I realized it first on 1.01 when I fixed a bit of the Italy events. Yesterday on 1.03 I had a custom db-economy file and it caused the same problem. Yes, all files were copied to both computers, so they had the exact file setup for both. Going back to vanilla 1.03 fixed the problem and allowed for the fun to commence... well, when I wasn't getting booted for annexing a country and for some reason unable to put unemployed POPs into factories. :p

If you can find luck... or if anyone has... using custom files, I will definitely be all ears.
