So I'm attempting to make a personal mod which is supposed to represent the Frisian Freedom in the 1337 startdate. I want to do this by creating 2 seperate republics in the counties of Friesland and Ostfriesland. I have created 2 new characters, 2 new dynasties and changed the capital and ownership of the counties. But for some reason it doesn't seem to work. I already changed the characters from Frisian to Dutch since I thought not owning the 2 dlc's that expand the timeline had something to do with it. When I start up the mod, it just doesn't change anything about the 1337 startdate.

Your .mod points to a zip file calles
Heirs_of_Widukind, while you mod is actually a folder called
Heirs of Widukind

Also, dont use replace_path, its complete overkill and is meant for clearing out entire folder structures not individual files. The game will replace files with your edited versions automatically.
