Hello, I stumbled upon this mod a while back, but finally got around to trying it after learning it had been updated. I apologize if I seem a bit lost about some features, and would like to ask before I started a full play through.

1.) I noticed when looking at the de jure empire map that some places were listed as E_Null, in particular some kingdoms in the baltic region, and the madagascar region.

2.) what is the history behind the Zalmoxis-Christian Arturian descendant? why Zalmoxis-Christianity? is it any use keeping it for a playthrough, or do most convert to one of the other local religions?(because seriously, there are a bunch in the isles.)

3.) do any of the special characters(I.E the ones listed as important) have any special events? like does the Arthur lad get the chance to get a sword of victory? does the Sol Invictus emperor get anything cool? or are there any general religious special events?

1 is something I have been fixing up, it was originally in place to show how those places did not have dejure empires.

2, the Isles are a mash of religions, but usually it seems like they retain that mass of religions for a long while. In the lux world, conversion is not as fast as vanilla history. Christo-Zalmoxis is a sect of Zalmoxism in which believers think that Jesus of Nazareth was an incarnation of the second coming of Zalmoxis, and his teachings should be accepted as well as Zalmoxis. In history, the timeline mentions that the rulers of Brythonia were Pendragons, at least from 700 AD and ongoing, although I assume the line is descended straight from Arthur who was very likely the "same" Arthur we know from our regular history. So how does his descendants become Christo-Zalmoxis? Well, Artorius Pendragon served in many wars in the Balkans and Dacia, and subsequently found himself governing and fighting with a group of Zalmoxis worshiping Sarmatians, which eventually led to some of them coming back to Britain with him when he became king of the Brythons. There, they became a syncretic faith, mixing elements of the area's Christianity and the Zalmoxis of Artorius and his few Sarmatians. Thus, you have Christo-Zalmoxis.

I apologize for the large paragraph, but it was all needed to show how it all lined up. Make sure to read the bloodline trait for Pendragon and that will give you history for it as well.

3) I am not sure, but I think there are not too many special events. Lux Invicta has a ton of "new" mechanics, but event wise its kinda more on just letting things play out instead of bogging down with events. That is the feel I got from older devs of the mod (I am relatively new, but have been a Lux fan for 5+ years).

On 3), tsf4 is correct, at least regarding my own efforts. When modding, I have focused on systemic additions which would be equally accessible to the well-known realms as well as to less "popular ones". My goal being that my limited modding time would be as beneficial to a Mari playthrough as to the WRE. This is because I think that one of the advantages of LI is to put forgotten people and religions under the spotlight. An example of this approach is the "radical governments" mechanic which can tell a strory regardless of the realm you are playing.

pretty sure not

Artorius was a Sarmatian according to the blood of Artorius trait iirc
