As I do not have the time to read every post that may or may not have covered some things I am uncertain of, I will ask my questions in this thread.

Is the Stony Road mod compatible with the picture packs etc?

To anyone who had played both CORE 7.1 and the Stony Road: How would the two compare?- please be specific.

Thanks.

Thats a tough question. There are more events, techs, and in general details in CORE, but that makes for tougher gamepley. SR is more simple in my opinion.

I think SR is compatible, but I think they may be installed with the game.

I do not know the current status of CORE but in the past CORE had much more historical events that SR, thing that I think is slowly changing. It is a very wrong assumption to think that SR is simpler :D , it is totally the opposite. For new players I would recommend playing HOI or CORE initially to get in touch with game parameters and then pass to SR which is much more sofisticated for the amount of variables and combat complexity that need to be handled properly. There is a description for several HOI mods Here including CORE and SR.
