For the planned "Spam-Update" on my army mod i wanna implement "rations" for army and navy (made as refine pm from groceries, liquor gets moved ).
Now i can not decide how to "feed" it to soldiers. Anyone care to give me an poll on the way to use it, regarding realistic history, mechanics and qol.

Option 1: in addition to pops own vanilla consumption as civilians, adding in small quantities to military pms, representing wartime necessity.
Option 2: make Servicemen and officers consume it with high weight on basic pop denmand base, representing how their average diet will be made up. due to wartimes, exercises, manovers and living in barracks.

Edit: Option 1 has the additional feature of giving units possible shortage penalties, while option 2 might make them radical on political stage if not feed.
