Most likely this is because the AI's are basic from 1.2/1.3, and have not had any serious adjustments made to them for changes in the mod. So, fully expect there to be all sorts of AI related issues and wierdness in this release.
 
So I've noticed
 
oh well guess WW2 now starts in 1937 :D

friend of mine was playing and said it had something to do with entering the rhineland to early
