Hi Guys,

Just wanted to ask a short question about a new Graphics card that I could be using in a potential new system. Does anyone know if the following graphics card would work with Cities in Motion?

1GB AMD RADEON HD6670

The processor in the new machine will be faster since if I buy this new computer I will be going up from my current processor speed of 1.60 GHz and getting a faster speed of 3.10 GHz instead which will run the game a lot faster hopefully.

I'm still in the research and planning stage but I would really appreciate any thoughts anyone has on the above graphics card.

Am I right in thinking that if an Intel processor is marked down with HD graphics in its specifications then that along with the graphics card will give me a good picture?

I’m sorry if those sounded like odd questions. I’m just making sure I can get a system that will allow me to enjoy CIM and CIM2 along with other simulation games etc.

Any thoughts would be a real big help so thanks for taking the time to read my thread.

Best wishes

No. If the processor is marked with "HD Graphics" it means that the processor has an integrated graphic card which is not supported by CiM.
You must have a dedicated graphic card to run the game, 1GB AMD RADEON HD6670 is well above the minimum requirements.

The Radeon HD6670 is indeed above the minimum requirements, and you should either turn the CPU's HD Graphics off in your BIOS unless your motherboard's chipset doesn't support it anyway (like my P67)

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your replies about that graphics card the good news is at some point as soon as cash allows I will upgrading to a decently powered gaming pc so both graphics cards and processing power won't be an issue as the new machine once cash is saved up, computer ordered and delivered will be able to tackle whatever challenges are thrown at it gaming wise.

Thanks for your help about that other card as I was just getting an idea of how I could get a system together and I hope you guys didn't mind me asking advice about the card like I did?

Best wishes
