Ram requirement for game

I'm wondering about the 64 MB of RAM listed as a game requirement. Will it run with 48MB of RAM? I realize that it will probably be slow, but will it run? I'm going to be buying a new system over the summer, but I don't want to have to wait that long to play the game. If I buy it when it releases next week will I be wasting my money? My system meets all the other requirements.

We have run it on 40 mb Ram but it is nothing we recommend.

It also depends a lot on your system though, if it's a NT or W2000 machine with 48MB I definately wouldn't recommend it, but if it is a W95 it's lot better, especially if you remove all the programs and other stuff that eats memory (like desktop picture, extra fonts, sounds etc.... )...

It's a Win 95 system. I've also shut down most things that eat memory already (all the stuff that's in the startup folder by default like Find Fast and the virus checker) since I also play Championship Mamanger which is a memory hog.

I wouldn't even run Win2k with less than 128 mb Ram... It is mem hungry!
