Random crashes

Description​

Game crashes randomly. Opened a ticket and was suggested that i install the unofficial patch but that did not work. Also tried reinstalling game, verifying game cache and reinstalling GPU drivers. Already tried reinstalling windows but that did not work. Tried with and without mods.

Randomly happens when i play the game.

Check if the swap file is enabled on your system? I had the same problem with random crashes, but enabling the swap file fixed it.

Please write if you will use my recommendation, whether it will help you and also how many gb of RAM you have. I had 16 GB, but it wasn't enough for the game.

Hi! Thanks for the suggestion. I tried enabling swap file but it did not help. I have 16 GB RAM. Strange how 16 GB RM is not enough considering it says minimum 6 GB RAM in steam...

It's a pity that this decision didn't help you. Earlier I advised several people with the same problem this method and it worked well. Although they also had 16GB of RAM. The game seems to be unstable in a certain configuration if the swap file is disabled, but in other cases this method is useless.

I have been having the same issue for the last few days. It came out of nowhere. I don't know what else to do. Ive checked everything I know to check and also removing all my mods.

I so far have been able to avoid it by launching from my desktop rather than from steam

I launch from my desktop as well. I just did it to me again so I came back to see if anyone else is either having the same issue or has found a fix for it.

I was in 928 when It did it too me. This is extremely frustrating. I started having the issue late Friday night/ early Saturday morning.

I got to play for a few hours and then once again out of the blue the game just starts crashing. This is very annoying!!! I just lost everything Ive done for the last 2 1/2 hours. Why is this game just randomly crashing? Once again I have removed all mods and uninstalled and reinstalled the game. The only consistent issue is constant crashing.

I too have the same problem but when my character dies the game crashes by deactivating all modes it still crashes when I force my character to die that's when the game crashes but we have been told that the problem is since the DLC update we only have to wait for an update :'(
