Hello. I'll try here a random world AAR. As my English isn't perfect, It would not be a narrative AAR, more a short description. I'm really curious about this feature (especially with an eventual export to EU4 later).

Here is the setting:

Max number of counties: 5

Number of Dukes: Normal

Number of Kings: Few

Number of Emperors: None

(Yes I like the shattered world option too)

No HRE/Byzantium

Cultures: historical

Feudal heavy

All the rest at random

I'vre rerolled several worlds before having something that I like

Yes, it's really shattered

World if feudal, Africa is Iqta, some tribes and Nomads in Bangladesh.

So, how to decide who i want to play? Let's make it random too. I've rolled 3 randoms characters, and I had:

-Duke Hildevold of Brabant, a small duchy locked between several kingdoms

-Mazorban Badar of Farrah, a big duchy in former Persia

-Duka Pakstyan of Ural, a duke, in well, Ural

The last of two are interesting - I've barely never played in Persia neither the Ural. However Ural is closed from the place where I live IRL, so let's go for it!

The story of the North

For millennia, the vast Votyakan forests were cut from the rest of the world. Empires were rising and falling, while the northern hunters and gatherers were living their life, unnoticing the rest of the world.

One day things have changed

It is unknown now where exactly does the reveal of the Transcripts of the Past took place, but the new religion took over the North, and expanded as pilgrims and seekers of the tomb of the Mother of the Seven Hundred.

The Yarite religion today (note that Chiapazan is a Yarite heresy)

As they came in contact with more civilized southern and western neighbors, the Votyakan culture experienced a golden age. Tribalism was slowly replaced by feudalism, first modest cities appeared, and the two northern twin realms of Sharoa and Yerneslua were founded

De jure realms

However, cultural differences, internal strife, and conflicts from the time of tribalism quickly took their due from the young kingdoms, and even despite the influence of the Moabdan, the head of the Yarite church, they fell apart.

The North today

Pasktyan was named by Rateg the last king of Yerneslua to the prestigious position of the Duke of Ural, keeper of the Eastern door.

Soon after that, Rateg was overthrown by his son, which was in turn murdered by Rateg council members, ending his dynasty, and breaking the once powerful kingdom in 4 petty states.

-The Rich Duchy of Perm, Ural's neighbor, and formerly called kingdom fishery, due to his strategic position on the Kama's bank, now ruled by the Duke Vechkas, a youngling elected by local nobility.

-The Duchy of Komi (including the former Zyriane Duchy), biggest state of the north, ruled by the the duke Zhebed, former regent of the Yerneslua kingdom.

-The Duchy of Zavarot (including the former Duchy of Pechora), where day and night lasts for months, place of great warriors and whale hunters, ruled by the infamous Duke Nga who dealed the killing blow to Rateg's son.

-And finally our Kingdom - the Duchy of Yral, the door to the East.

I've spent several enjoyable hours mucking around with the random world generator. Did consider doing an AAR but just don't have the time right now. I look forward to seeing how your game goes.

Hello

I usually play way forward of the AAR, and unfortunately...well this AAR isn't interesting. Maybe the world was a bit too shattered, but after 3 characters in about 100 years, I'm already the most powerful and stable country in the world, while the rest barely changed.

So, I don't really think taht's worth an aar, and I'm gonna to focus on my Carinthia aar instead. Sorry for the trouble, maybe a moderator could clean this post.
