Eyy, so CKII is free without dlc, but it'd be nice to get some feedback on what is and isn't possible to mod. I really, really, want randomly generated Random World ruler's kids to have kids of their own and spouses. Any help on how to modify those variables, tots appreshiated! :)))

The Random World has sliders for min-max of rulers' ages and their kids, but there is nothing to generate spouses of kids and grandkids for rulers. So, you can get something like a 75 year old count with 8 kids ages 50-15, and none of those will have anything distinguishing about them, no marriage pacts with other counts of similar culture groups or religion which could be a really neat feature.

I see what you mean. I don't think it is handled by events, so you would have to write a new event, called by on_startup, in a new on_actions file, with a trigger checking for alternate starts.

This is the screenshot pulled from the first post on Middle Earth... in Earth mod.

What would be the best guess as to how much work would go into creating the possibility for families to have marriage pacts and grandkids for the currently spawned, random rulers of Random World gen? Obviously being able to create something like the above pic would be totz nutz for the parameters of a randomly generated dynasty, but I'd like to see something like that limited to randomly spawned ruler's first born generation and those kid's kids and marriages.

Probably wouldn't be too hard to check if a character is related to a ruler and spawn a random number of children for them. Adding a few marriages between rulers who don't live too far apart is likely doable as well. Give it a try!
