Re-installing after deleting EU files

A friend of mine have a problem with installing EU1:

He deleted the EU1 files without uninstalling the game. Now he can not re-install. When he select 'install' it ask if he want to remove it. I asked him to try and delete the EU keys from the registry, but it does not seem to help.

Any clues?

something is left somewhere in the registry, and that's preventing the install.

First, be sure the directory is deleted (keep the savegames elsewhere), than use a registry cleaner utility to removre obselete keys.

It's called Advance Administrative tools. So far, it's the best software I have seen. Use the registry cleaner applet and delete all keys (make a back-up first).

It's a shareware and you have 30 days to try it.
