Real Convenience: Message Adjust in Messages

Especially for new players it would be VERY handy if there were a button in a given class of popup message (and even for ones scrolling by) to adjust whether pop or not. Some many messages classes to scroll through to find the appropriate one otherwise.

Just right-click on the message and you get a box where you can set the level of bugging you want that class of messages to do... You can also right-click on mostly any message in the log and do the same...

YOU CAN !

You can turn on or off several 100+ different types of messages.

Check again in the settings menu and you'll find it.


BTW this is a post that should belong in the FAQ section of the forums =)

Really inconvenient

You need the pop-up messages - just to much info would be lost if you left them out. But it´s really inconvenient to have windows pooping up like crazy in the main playing area.

I just made a very unfavorable peace with Spain. ( I controlled Malta, all of Sicily, the Baleares, Gibraltar and most of Spanish America)
Spain offered peace for the LV1 TP in Carolina, exactly in the moment I selected an army right under the 'accept' button.
