i have an ingame problem. im not shure if its a bug or a PC related problem, but i had experienced this on another computer too.

in my current game everything but the cursor freezes when mauretania declares independence. its the third time it happens, usually some days after the event fires, but i think its not always the same time period...
on my cousins computer you dont have to restart the system though

and then theres the same synch error ("Game is no longer in sync") with two computers connected like in EU3, but not if both computers restart the game before loading, misteriously.

You probably have the NoCultureGroup bug, see http://forum.paradoxplaza.com/forum/showthread.php?t=387866

there is a solution from cheexsta linked on the thread you mention but im not sure if i should install that hotfix.....

Post #12 in that thread says how to manually fix it, if you're worried about installing a mod.

hehe... i see you read my other post there. thx, ill try it on LAN too by fixing the file on both computers.
