I've posted this thread, even thought I believe you won't be able to help me. I've installed two different versions of CK on my computer in the last few days, and nothing seems to work.
The game (and my computer with it) freezes inexplicably somewhere in the second year of the game, no matter the scenario and nation I'm playing or the version of the game.
I.e.: I was playing Nubia a couple of minutes ago, v. 1.0, somewhere around september 26, 1067 the music stopped playing, the cursor and my keyboard froze, and I had to restart. Yesterday, I tried county of Lubeck, 1.5, december 30, 1068, all dead.
I own a 1.9 ghz comp with 256 mb ram. Currently I have around 5 gigabytes of space on it, and I'm using windows XP. My direct X version is 9.something.
Hvae no idea what to do, please help if it happens to be related to the game at all, and not a problem caused by some virus (as there are a couple running amok on this computer).
