Greetings,

I'm encountering persistent crashes in Stellaris on my Mac and am seeking assistance. Below are my system specs and a summary of the issue:

  • System Specs: M1 MAX, 10 cores, 24 GHz, 64 GB RAM, MacOS Version 14.1.1
  • Game Version: Stellaris 3.10.0
  • Issue Description: The game crashes consistently. The debug log indicates problems related to OpenGL and graphics settings (e.g., multisampling set to 4, anisotropic filtering at 16, resolution 1728x1117). I've tried adjusting these settings without success.
  • Troubleshooting Steps Taken:
    • Verified game files' integrity.
    • Experimented with different graphics settings.
    • Checked for MacOS and graphics driver updates.
Attached are excerpts from the log files that highlight these issues + crashes folder


Question:

  1. Has anyone experienced similar OpenGL-related crashes in Stellaris on MacOS?
  2. Are there specific settings or configurations in the logs that could be causing these crashes?

We are seeing crashes on Macs since the recent patch. Sorry about that!

Please make a new thread in Bug Reports, and attach there a save file that shows this problem.
