The manual says Reformists suffer a penalty to income, but the game says switching from Protestant to Reformist will increase my income. Please tell me which is correct.

We have updated our Community Code of Conduct. Please read through the new rules for the forum that are an integral part of Paradox Interactive’s User Agreement.
Compared to catholic, Lutheran gives +30% tax income, reformed gives -20%. Reformed should have better merchants though (not to mention the extra colonist, stability bonus and morale)
